ABOUT BKCC

At BKCC, we are a vibrant, Christ-centered community dedicated to building God’s Kingdom through love, faith, and service. Our mission is to transform lives by sharing the Gospel, empowering believers, and making a lasting impact in our community and beyond. Whether you’re new to faith or looking for a place to grow, you’ll find a welcoming home at BKCC where everyone is valued and purpose is discovered.

Theme Verse

My dear children, let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love. This is the only way we’ll know we’re living truly, living in God’s reality. It’s also the way to shut down debilitating self-criticism, even when there is something to it. For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.

1 John 3:18-20

Mission Statement

A Real People. A Real Church. A Real Pastor. A Real Love

Vision Statement

To Become a Community of People Living, Learning and Loving through the word of God.

OUR PASTOR: PASTOR VICTOR B. JACKSON, I

For ten years, Pastor Vic has faithfully and joyfully served Building the Kingdom Community Church alongside his wife Ramona Jackson.

Before planting BKCC, Pastor Vic worked in a variety of capacities. After college, he played football for the Houston Oilers and for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. He then returned to Texas to work for Republic Bank. During his time there, Pastor Vic also helped plant These Are They Church, where he served as Assistant Pastor. Additionally, he began his own moving company, D-Best Movers, which became yet another ministry God used mightily. Following his service with These Are They Church, Pastor Vic joined Dallas First Church and became the first African American pastor of the Nazarene denomination.

With a "Love You, i" philosophy, Pastor Vic has discovered that those who serve in ministry really grow in their relationship with God as they serve Him and others.

This ministry started and continues in prayer and obedience. We believe God will call individuals who are willing to work (Acts) and possess a heart for prayer (1 Thess. 5:17) as we build His Kingdom together.
